Original WWII Italian M33 helmet, with assault pioneer branch flash on the front. Very good condition showing service use, helmet surfaced in Canada and consignor reports it is a Canadian battlefield souvenir from WWII. The steel shell has a few minor dents, including a dent that from the interior appears to be shrapnel damage and possibly repaired in the field. The liner and chinstrap are tightly in place and original to this helmet with good leather that is still supple. Overall, this is a very nice helmet and genuine good condition with all the standard features of a genuine WWII example. Italian M33 helmets are rarely offered for sale in North America. *Sold*
